Centuries before the birth of the Modern Messianic Jewish Movement, Hebrew Christians played key roles in the preservation, transmission, and translation of the Hebrew Scriptures. Important Jewish Christian scholars edited the first critical edition of the Hebrew Bible, paving the way for the Protestant Reformation. Hebrew Christian professors in Oxford educated Christian pastors in the ongoing role of Israel. This four-part webinar will explore the little-known story of the role of these Jewish followers of Yeshua in Church history.

Dr Stan Meyer
Dr Meyer is the Academic Dean of MJTI and Associate Professor of Contemporary Jewish Studies. He has a PhD in Intercultural Education from Biola University and an MA in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. His field of study is Jewish Social Scientific research, Jewish identity, and Contemporary Jewish history. Dr. Meyer and his wife Jacqui live in Phoenix, where they are elders at Baruch Hashem Messianic Synagogue.
