This short course will provide a rare glimpse into the earliest circles of Yeshua-followers, when Yeshua’s own blood relatives were still influential leaders. We will focus on the family of Yeshua, and particularly discuss the life and work of brothers James and Jude.

Rabbi Joshua Brumbach
Rabbi Joshua Brumbach is the Senior Rabbi of Simchat Yisrael in West Haven, CT, and additionally serves as adjunct faculty at Messianic Jewish Theological Institute and The King’s University. He is the author of two biblical commentaries, John’s Three Letters: On Hope, Love, and Covenant Fidelity (2019) and Jude: On Faith and the Destructive Influence of Heresy (2014). He is currently completing a doctorate in Jewish Studies at the Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership, holds a MA from MJTI, and a BA from UCLA. He is ordained by the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations and the Messianic Jewish Rabbinical Council.
