March: American Jews in 2023
Sunday, March 5 then Monday, March 13, 20,27 at 8 PM Eastern
This course explores recent findings on American Jews, their evolving beliefs, practices, and behaviors. This course will look at the last Pew Research study and other studies. Moreover, we’ll discuss the growing culture-gap between the Messianic Jewish Movement and American Jewry, between what Messianic Jews think is “Jewish” and how American Jews in 2023 describe Jewishness. Finally, we’ll discuss the implications—what does it mean to be a distinctly “Jewish” Messianic community in 2023?
