The modern Israel-Gaza conflict has raged for almost 20 years. It became, for many of us, “background noise.” It periodically erupted with rocket attacks, then faded again in the evening news. But on October 7, it burst on the news with the shocking attack on Israel. It now appears to be growing into a regional conflict.

Dr. Stan Meyer
Dr. Stan Meyer is the Interim Academic Dean for the Messianic Jewish Theological Institute. He holds an MA in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Institute and a PhD in Intercultural Education from Biola University in Los Angeles. His expertise is in Contemporary Jewish History, Jewish Identity, and Social Scientific Research. Meyer also teaches Intercultural Studies at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix and teaches Jewish Identity and Continuity at The King’s University in Dallas. He and his wife are both Messianic Jews. The Meyers live in Phoenix where they attend Baruch Hashem Messianic Congregation.
