December/January: The Golden Rule
December 29, 2020-January 19, 2021—Tuesdays @ 1 p.m. ET
In this course, we study the Golden Rule and how it serves as the basis for Jewish ethical behavior and lifelong learning. We consider two versions of the Golden Rule, one by the sage Hillel and the other by Yeshua. How do they relate to each other and how do they pervade the Bible and Jewish tradition? This course is not theoretical, but practical: it is meant to shape us as human beings in this world.
